Trek to Rajgad was my first one and the best ever
I and my dad went for a trek to Rajgad fort. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj adulated for his tactical governance, disciplined military, kindness and high respect for women; was attributed to have had a control of almost 360 forts in his reign in Marathwada. Rajgad was capital of Maratha Empire. The fort lies 4,514ft above the sea level. It is believed that Shivaji Maharaj stayed the highest number of days on this fort than any other.
This fort consists of a steep slope which once again increases its strategic importance. Entrance inside is mainly through three doors Chor Darwaja , Pali Darwaja and one more door under which according to a myth; treasure was buried. The fort is surrounded with numerous types of plants and truly gives the best feeling of being close to nature, and the Sunrise amid dense fog which I experienced early in the morning was Heavenly.
This fort has three Machi; Padmavati, Suvela and Sanjivani. A machi is plateau on which certain structures are made which is used for administration purposes, storage of ammunitions and food grains. The main structure where the King used to live is called Balley Killa. It is said that this one is hard to climb. The temperature here drops to such an extent that I loved enjoying the bonfire. In the eve we cooked rice and few crispy papads.
Near the tip of Suvela Machi, inside a rock, hole is cut naturally and it’s known as Nedha. In many films this structure is portrayed. I would like to tell for every construction there is a story. If you understand all myths then each and every stone has history; and if you just plainly visit then every edifice is rock. Finally, we descended through Pali Darwaja. No matter how difficult it was but that was just an amazing and pride giving trek.
Lastly, “Monuments are the grappling-irons that bind one generation to another.” So we will preserve them…..

After so many years, we visited our village home
My dad is from a village named ‘Sangamner’. It is small where we have our house. My dad grew up here to become a successful mechanical engineer. He loves this place and experiences a pride of his current position and prosperity. His school is situated just in front of this house. The people here are caring and of friendly nature. Villages are a symbol of unity, strength, down to earth souls and simple lifestyle.
In such places it’s too obvious to find things which are precious. At my place we have coins from age of a mighty Indian Ruler ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ’ and from ‘British period’ too. On the former ‘Chhatrapati’ and on the latter ‘ East India Company’ is inscribed. I also have coin on which it is written ‘ George VI King Emperor’ that coin’s value is one quarter anna and it from the year 1940. Moreover, a coin on which something is written in Urdu I suppose. Perhaps but I know not much about this one. The coins which you see in the last pic are all paisa. I love to observe such historic articles . Sangamner has a temple that consists of an underground tunnel which opens near the river, it’s believed that ruler Shivaji Maharaj used to travel from here.
Finally, I would say preserve your past because “ People without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture are like a tree without roots.”

Student life
Student Life has tremendously changed…Adopting to the new type of learning is so difficult, I feel like how our parents used to tell us of their days stating, “ those were the days of true learning”.
Earlier the exam atmosphere created in the school; every now and then the botheration of exam , everyone calling out and saying “ All The Best ” is what I miss the most. Even if we live among people, we don’t have interactions. Those circulating of chits, fear of teachers and help of exam partners was something truly what is lacking in these online exams. When we used to go to school , unknowingly all used to compete for attaining maximum number of attachments to the answer sheets. Somewhere behind the mind there was a purpose for calling out our teachers and exclaiming loudly “ ma’am attachment ”. That rechecking of paper, tearing the answer sheet while teacher is snatching it to get extra time was legendry. On the other hand, now, we upload and answer our exams, that fun of cheating is somewhere lost in the engulfing waves of time.
Wow!! How much we are changed, isn’t it ? Maybe we will be able to return to that past again or accept this new present… Hug our dearest friends without the concern of masks and sanitizers; spending time in canteen gossiping about latest films and new outfits. Or else me and my friends probably would comment on the passerby keep their names, fight for one chocolate ball but at the end share it… And yes, we never kept in mind that we were creating memories we just enjoyed.
We cannot always live life virtually, it’s not a good one.
Lastly, I would say “ Sometimes, it’s better to bunk a class and enjoy with friends, because now, when I look back, marks never make me laugh, but those memories do.”

A web-series named ‘Delhi-Crime’
Recently I watched a web series “Delhi Crime”. It was based on nowadays crimes happening on women. The web series left me in darkness to wonder for the causes of crime. I felt rich people have a different life, luxury comfort we can say an extravagant lifestyle. Due some rich middlemen the money devoted for the development of poor is used, as a result the sum doesn’t reach the correct hands. To experience the same comfort and luxury and free themselves from these daily hardships, poor people try to get those privileges but when their desire is not fulfilled, they try to snatch it from the rich. Hence crime take place.
The web series was based on 2012 Nirbhaya rape and murder case. During the investigation of this case the country witnessed tremendous revolts and protests. The guilty was awarded with death sentence, and three years’ imprisonment for under 18 guilty. And now this year a 19-year-old girl was raped. Even today for the recent case there are protests held, and questions raised for her justice. Such incidents occurring in the country are still alive in heart of every person.
Now the question raises in my mind, so should the girls again follow the old customs of staying in the four walls of house. But such crimes are unpreventable until the thought process of the society is changed, women should be respected and not treated as a property. In the Nirbhaya case the Guilty were given death sentence but still the people committing such crimes do not fear of the punishment. They think that we will live life freely until our death sentence is awarded.
The tribute for all such girls is alive in the hearts.

Festivals bring joy and fun, and much more to learn
All people in India are celebrating…This festival advances each year with the arrival of the idol of Lord Ganesha . The weather is full of excitement and enthusiasm to welcome him, as he brings prosperity, happiness, and healthy life ahead. We have a custom to make his favorite dish on his arrival which are so called MODAK. A sort steamed dumpling stuffed with grated coconut and jaggery along with poppy seeds…YUMMY!!
Nextly is the appearance of his two sisters- Jestha and Shrestha along with their baby. They are to be provided with all luxury and comfort, it’s said that they come home where they used to reside prior marriage…
We have two mouthpieces, stands and upper body. It is attached to form to a whole body of the deity. In the morning they are welcomed in our home and are provided with food, water and heavy jewellery to wear…Our mouthpieces are Ancestral, passed on from generation to generation… it’s believed that these mouthpieces change their facial expressions according to change in time from day to night. We treat them as alive individuals. But there Is lot of calmness and peace with their presence in our house.
Lastly comes the most emotional and hated part of this festival, the departure of them… The house is left with serenity and stillness . We look forward for their arrival again next year…

Happy Raksha Bandhan
On the auspicious day of Raksha Bhandan a sister ties a thread to brother asking him to protect her. As the name suggests it’s a protection bond. It was indeed a joyful festival among the sequence of negative happenings. In my locality I tied Rakhis to my brothers, Rudra, Shiva and Advay. I even received awesome gifts from them. This festival has a significance in Indian history too, a woman sent rakhi to an enemy, who was threat to her empire; calling him to come for protecting her. Seeing the thread, the brother came running to protect her but Alas! She died till his arrival.
Among this festival we also had Friendship Day, it’s said when we born, we have readymade relatives but in life friends are made by us. Best friends are one soul dwelling in two bodies. A friend picks you up when you fall but waits till he finishes laughing…All this makes life adventurous. I believe that the way darkness does not have its own existence, it fades with the advent of light; the same way we don’t have any reality without friends.
But these festivals are not shown by presenting gifts to one another, by simply showing your love and care towards the person. We all are wealthy we have money we have cars, but we are tiny minded people so called “Poor”. We make friends and keep friendly relations with our relatives only when they are wealthy. Yet a human who does this all from his heart without even taking a glance at the person condition, is truly called “Rich”. Nevertheless, in this era we don’t have anyone rich.
Finally, I would end up by saying ‘Good people are like candles they burn themselves up to give others light.’
Until next blog Bye bye….

Giving up is not an option
There is a famous proverb saying, “EVEN NECTAR IS POISON IF TAKEN IN EXCESS”. It duly expresses the current pandemic situation. In Maharashtra the government eagerly announced the Unlock – 1, happily hoping that at least now the public is aware and knows the way of existing after this in society. But perhaps they were wrong in identifying us and even we ditched them. Maybe this situation is endless. We need to adopt to this new world where such pandemic would now be usual.
How the condition is worst: Friends have time but can’t spend together. The air is pure, but it cannot be experienced. The nature is healing but explorers can’t discover it. Life has an opportunity, but we are not able to turn it to our goal. The people caring us are diagnosed positive, none but we are left to care for ourselves. What can this condition be named – strangely a Miracle? Did you observe one thing these things are affecting life but developing the nature. I am not depressing you but showing the reality.
We can motivate ourselves in this situation by enjoying some soothing music, helping mind and body to relax by doing meditation, look for good, distract yourself from emotional thoughts.
I would like to share a poem:
- Life may be tough
- Things will get rough
- There will be bad days
- It may all seem like a haze
- But through it all
- Always, always stand tall
- Giving up is not an option
- Never turn your back and run
- Through good times and bad
- Through happy times and sad
- As long as you keep moving
- You’ll never stop growing…
But yes, if taken seriously and with a smile we can get out of any state even as big as this ever-extending universe.

Happiness hatching in the little nest of the bird
This was quite exciting. On last Sunday my playmate told me that he found a bird nest with eggs in the foremost compartment of a vehicle. And that way started my excitement for them to hatch ….
Luckily this week on Thursday one of three eggs hatched. With the hatching of the young one it was as the arrival of happiness came to the world after this lockdown. The very next day the other two hatched.
We were dumbstruck to see them. They are so tiny with yellow beak, with thin throat. They open their mouth and sit in the nest while their mother works hard to bring them food.
But with the arrival of them there lies a worry in mind for their life. Existing in an ecosystem there are predators and threats for their life …….
The mother herself knowns the pain of leaving her priceless child lone in between such species of life whom she can’t trust at all the “humans”.
But Alas !! every life exists with his fate already decided. On Saturday their mother as usual went to fetch them some food and a brown cat arrived there and the very next moment the chicks were ceased to live….
It deeply saddened us, but we can’t interfere in the future of the any life. At any moment it will cease or continue to live…

Do you know anything which cannot be bought, but can be felt…GUESS????
Is it happiness, On 17th June I was gazing through my house window; near my house there lives a poor family and there is a small puddle there. They made a small boat out of a cut plastic drum, a piece of wood and a rope. They both attached the piece of wood to the drum with the rope and made a cute boat. A small best out of waste masterpiece made by a child.
Happiness is something that lies in every aspect of life, it needs to be enjoyed to the fullest. Life gives us many possibilities to be jolly. Smile a day can keep you miles away from the regular negative happenings.
“Life is too short to not to enjoy”
Twists and turns make life adventurous, but happiness makes it magical. Even if we see small pups or cow grazing peacefully our mind suddenly gets pleasant.
It was Father’s Day this week on 21st June. I was willing to make a cake did not get time at all. For each daughter her dad is her hero, lifeline and the person of life. A dad is a person who is overprotective towards his child and too sensitive mentally. My dad for me is a superhero, I follow him, he took me in his hands when I was an infant. He did so many things for me, but I was never able to thank him….
So today I would Like to say: I love you dad. Thank you for everything you gave me and fulfilling my every wish.

Loved the way humans showed humanity
This week passed away in a hectic manner. My online school was resumed, and we have loads of work to complete. In between them I don’t have time for myself, writing stories and poems.
In this week many of my textbooks ordered were received, I started to study by following my daily routine.
Still I have so much to do as my homework.
I strongly felt that how God has left his children so helpless in this situation, right? We are extremely forbidden that even if we see a person in need, we can’t do it, acting selfish even if we aren’t. This is because he wants to tell his white and red children of the fact that if you act selfish despite circumstance, you will be taken to such an extent of selfishness that you could not even see your near and dear ones …
Quite sadning huh……
On Friday I could discover my inner talent…
In my bio lecture I explained a short but an important topic to my friends and what a shot!! They all understood very well.
And yes, I got a cute little piggy bank from my grandparents, the one which sucks our currency notes like an automatical transaction machine. Amazing isn’t it?
But yes, this week I realized the importance of time management than blind wastage of it, happiness of small gifts than bigger ones, excavating my inner talent than pondering on other’s…

Sadness of destruction defeated my heart….
In this week it was as if the world is coming to an end…
On Wednesday the western coast of India was hit by a cyclone named ’Nisarga’. So, the weather was windy full of aggression from the God, I believe.
And a disheartening incident took place on 27th May in a literate state of India, Kerala.
It was: A pregnant elephant in search of food entered a village. Where the first and last mistake she did was, that trusted the humans, she was given a pineapple filled with crackers to eat. When it burst in her mouth, she ran but neither a single home was crushed, nor a person was hurt. Lastly to soothe her throat she sat in water and died there shortly at 4 pm.
We probably think demons to be with horns and long nails but there aren’t like that there are around us full of cruelty. Shame on such people…
I pray to god we don’t want that technology which disappears our common sense and kindness towards existing life, which is a property of nature.
It was nothing great in this week to tell.
News of trees falling, people dying, animals left alone on street. When I imagine such things, I think that after all we are facing the punishment of what we did earlier……
When mother earth was asking for a helping hand, we ran away now we pray her to save us; referring ourselves as her children. Why should a mother help if the child betrays? But still a mother has a heart, she keeps protecting her child till her end….
But I am sure that we humans will one day cease to live.
I do think that the end of humans is near and the things causing it to have started occurring.
All the Best to Ourselves for An Assumed Bright Future……

Attracted to family togetherness…… aren’t you?
This week I strongly felt that people even I want a joint family than nuclear family. Joint families are together and in such tension period; all can comfortably accept one another.
In my family each person plays an important role my mom, dad and my grandparents who share their experience to make me alert.
In the journey of my life from a sapling to a deeply rooted tree two more family members are included, my teachers
Ranjan sir and Divyanshu sir. They help find my true potential and showing me a path to achieve my ultimate aim in life.
On Tuesday my friend arrived from her hometown, and that evening we played so much and had good laughs. Laughing made me relaxed after so many decades we had such a loud and free laugh……
Quite satisfying huh…
I can see miniature eyes are disappearing. Small problems are given faces of being big…
My lockdown friends are growing and becoming self-sufficient, I learn a lot from them, the plants.
From Monday I had a busy schedule and while studying I went through a poem which I love a lot.
It is: The Heart of Tree
Written by Henry Cuyler bunner.
On weekends I saw many movies. One was on a comedy recarnation of six people in 1419. In my state the government has currently announced UNLOCK 1, waiting to meet my besties.
This week I realized the importance of joint families than nuclear one, miniature eyes than actual ones, and satisfying laughs than counted smiles.

I am sharing my very first poem that I wrote when I was 8 years old. What do you think?
Dwelling in memories and smiling slightly…. isn’t it?
On Monday I was sailing through my childhood memories and remembered one of my very first poem which I wrote when I was 8 years old. It is:
The trophy of friendship
There is a shimmer in the word friendship
There should be a booth for every buddy
There should not be telepathy among themselves,
but they should live their lives like the golden fairies.
We have won the trophy of friendship
Feeling active, excited and joyful by taking the trophy of friendship.
There is a carriage full of dreams, we have one another in one team.
Writing illustrations in a book everyone please have a look.
We have won the trophy of friendship.
This remembers me that when a person has silence and time he rarely dwells in good memories of past, like me I usually remember negative things.
It’s quite natural I believe that the silence which is acceptable to our soul after ultimate rest of course would not be suitable when it has a living body…
Quite deep huh…
This week I travelled to Belmont and Venice along with Shakespeare’s story the merchant of Venice.
But more than lockdown due to corona I think we have lockdown due to inhuman people. I can see a group of people gathering around in my society but not following the instructions, but when I don’t see them, I don’t feel comfortable. my mind rests on two things making me unstable.
I can observe some good changes, usage of technology but it has devastating effects too I miss my friends a lot, my teachers. But I fear usage of much technology can cause harm to our health.
This week I realized the importance of self-immunization than medicine intake. My parents are overprotective they take me to doctor even if I have a small problem. But now we fear to go to a doctor we get self-immunized. I love to observe the behavior of people in lockdown and the effects of it!

Can you believe that I was in a different world? But I am back with a lesson for all.
FROZEN WORLD
One fine day I was merrily advancing home from school. The day was full of activities in school. While stepping out of the school, I decided to mingle at home with a cup of hot chocolate, while watching my favorite show.
I was walking while watching fun on the road. Small puppy was passing by & cow was enjoying her grass. Children around were trying to play on roadside with bat & ball. I came close to my home. I was astonished when in a trice everything around me was put to an end; people stood like statues all around me, people in cars, babies in prams all lifeless, frozen in time.
Oh my god!! What’s this I could not believe on my eyes.
I thought how this could happen, what to do and who is the mastermind of this plan? I walked inside my house and the bushes in garden shook, but it was not a windy day. Some rays of light were seen by me. I searched into greens & what’s this??
A small UFO spotted….
Aliens …yes these were Aliens I could clearly see coming out of UFO.
They were conversing in some mystifying language. I was trying to convince them that it was out of my understanding at that moment they showed me a film clip, which made me startle. Strangely they spoke now in English. They said, “Your planet is strident that the people of our planet are annoyed.
“What?? you come from other planet, which planet?” before I could ask several questions they ordered me to wear a special suit.
Instantly they shot me with an electric gun. The rest I don’t remember, but yes, I could feel some movements and imagine some dark sky with stars to decorate and sounds of trumpets, which all were more like a dream.
When I awoke they gave me brackish water and plain bread, a sort of sticky which could be gulped at once. The bread was not a concoction, like how we Indians make. I was feeling livelier here. But the planet was aplomb, with pink and dazzling sky and the people were stocky. They took me to their head who was infuriated by the misbehavior; people continuously used different types of sound which were loud enough to disturb the public here; moreover, continuous industrialization and contamination of earth’s resources forced him to teach us lesson.
But seeing me considerate he shared the reason of brining me to this planet. I realized that man has turned greedy and overconfident of their inventions.
I apologized and promised that I will strive to convey the message to human till my last breath, so they do not face any more problems. They took me home happily.
Lastly, I saw my people aware of the fact and my companions to fulfil my word of peace till the very last. Suddenly I woke up it was a pleasant morning … I realized that man should mend their ways before it is too late.

I am going to share weekly stories, thoughts. Do you feel the serenity and calmness too?
Serenity and Stillness…… have you felt that?
The entire world is paused for time being you and I know that. I usually spend this time with my family and chums.
Nowadays I do my school homework with some activities. Recently I soaked a few seeds and planted some friends of sun and sky with merry mood of welcoming them in my world.
In this lockdown I miss my school, my friends, the fun and my teachers. I engage myself by writing short stories and poems too. The songs the rainwater, the wind, the plantlets give me everyday I listen to them. Cooking is not a cup of my tea but I love doing that.
Playing Badminton is my passion. I enjoy dwelling in the stories I read; travelling with them despite lockdown. They take to new world where you forget the sadness and boredom of lockdown.
Remembering the past memories and jokes on which I laughed, brings a smile on my face. Last week I had a good chat with my friend. Now I realized the importance of letters than mobile phones, family than work, nature than modern world.
This lockdown indeed is taking me closer to nature where I care for it and in turn it loves me.
More to come from Saee..
